Quiet Hounds

Rachel performed in their "An Ode to Lost Souls" concert at the Goat Farm in Atlanta in 2012
Some sounds just command the ear when created with honest pursuit; such is the case with Quiet Hounds. These are gentlemen of various talents unexpectedly united with the unabashed desire to produce pure, authentic music with only spontaneity as a guide. Stepping out of familiar cages and unleashed to create something that had been stirring within for quite some time.
Quiet Hounds debut was almost self-created, having been written and recorded in only two weeks time in a modest warehouse, with no blueprint or preconceived notions. The result is anthemic nostalgia, standing amused and flourishing in the heat of a humid south, playing out like a letter to a long lost love and pulling at heartstrings with every change. Longing, in style again.
